Very high quality skeleton of a Hooded Vulture. The hooded vulture (Necrosyrtes monachus) is an Old World vulture from the hawk-like family (Accipitridae) and the monotypic genus Necrosyrtes. The bird was validly described by Dutch zoologist Coenraad Jacob Temminck in 1823. It is a still common but rapidly declining raptor species of sub-Saharan Africa. The skeleton was very expertly cleaned and then assembled and then placed in a classic glass display case. Here attention is paid to perfect anatomy and also that every bone is mounted in the right place. We can make skeletons of many animal species for you. Please inquire about the possibilities.
