Acrophora Hyancintus Coral

Reproduction of ‘Acropora pulchra’ a flat form of coral from the lagoons of Oceania. Coral is in fact a living organism of the family Cnidaires. Corals generally live in colonies or ‘superorganisms’ of individuals known as polyps. Each polyp excretes its own external skeleton, which can be soft or hard according the particular species. Our collection of corals in resin is handmade, reproducing exactly the texture of living specimens, which are today protected species.
