This rose undoubtedly once decorated the ceiling of a Hausmann-type house in Paris but we have changed its primary use and made it into an unusual decorative object. As if levitating on its museum-style plinth, this authentically-patinated rose is richly adorned with acanthus leaves, fruit or flowers. It evokes the talented skills needed and the richness of ornaments of this period, and the passage of time….. it will surely find its place in a modern environment, giving it a really quirky look.
