This bird was born and died in captivity, has a fixed foot ring and comes with the appropriate cites documents.
The red kite (Milvus milvus) is a bird of prey in the hawk family (Accipitridae). The scientific name of the species was published as Falco milvus in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus.[2]
The name red milan (compare German: Rotmilan; both this and the Dutch term are derived from French milan) is no longer used for this bird.
